SimVis Gekko is backed by science

The Sim+Vis Technology™ was developed at the Visual Optics and Biophotonics Lab of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), a worldwide recognized research institution, and 2EyesVision has licensed the patents with global exclusivity. Several scientific papers have been published about the technology supporting the accuracy, reliability and capabilities of the visual simulator. The clinical application and validation of the visual simulator have also been well established.

SimVis Gekko has demonstrated to be capable of supporting clinical decisions for prescribing multifocal solutions. It is expected to generate increased interest from the scientific community in the coming years, leading to new research avenues and providing evidence in other areas. More than 25 scientific articles have been published after 10+ years of joint research and development:

The Sim+Vis technology has been presented in the most relevant international and national conferences in the field of ophthalmology, optometry and vision science, such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Symposium & Congress (ASCRS), European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons Congress (ESCRS), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Annual Meeting (ARVO), American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery (AECOS), International Society of Presbyopia (ISOP), or Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology (PAAO), among others.



Different prestigious institutions from around the world have expressed keen interest in supporting the groundbreaking 2EyesVision project, recognizing its immense potential in revolutionizing the field of vision research and providing the necessary funding and resources to fuel its progress and success. Among these esteemed backers are Bullnet Capital, renowned for their investments in cutting-edge ventures; NextCorps, CDTI-EPE, and the Horizon 2020 program. Additionally, the project has garnered support from the distinguished European Research Council (ERC), the prestigious EIT Health initiative, and the Government of Madrid, alongside other esteemed organizations.
