Eduardo Esteban

OPTOMETRIST RESEARCHER

Eduardo Esteban Ibáñez is a dedicated visual scientist and optometrist with a strong passion for research in Visual Optics and Vision Sciences. Currently pursuing his Industrial Ph.D. Candidate at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and 2EyesVision by Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), his research focuses on the development and evaluation of the SimVis Technology (visual simulator) for its application in an optometric environment. Specifically, it simulates multifocal corrections for the treatment of presbyopia.

Eduardo has practical experience as a Visiting Ph.D. Researcher at the University of Rochester. With a background in Optics and Optometry, Eduardo’s expertise and dedication make him a valuable asset in advancing optical technologies and improving visual function.
