Dr. Luke Rebenitsch

Dr. Luke Rebenitsch is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist. Raised in North Dakota, he was inspired by his family’s strong ties to farming, ranching, education, and engineering, which nurtured his curiosity for the wonders of the natural world. Dr. Rebenitsch’s adventures living, studying, and working in Europe and South America enriched his life experiences and cultivated a profound appreciation for global diversity. After graduating with honors from St. Mary’s Central, he pursued engineering with a full academic scholarship at North Dakota State University and the University of North Dakota. He embraced the challenging path of medicine and earned acceptance to Washington University in St. Louis, a renowned medical school with a legacy of excellence. During this transformative phase, he did epidemiological research in Peru and rotations at King’s College in London. Dr. Rebenitsch developed a special interest in refractive surgery and visual quality, driven by a genuine desire to enhance patients’ lives through improved vision.

Completing his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a prestigious refractive surgery fellowship at Dr. Durrie Vision in Kansas City, he honed his expertise and research acumen in the field of ophthalmology. Dr. Rebenitsch contributed to the scientific community with different papers and posters, advancing knowledge and innovation in the realm of vision correction. His commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes led him to undergo specialized training in facial aesthetics, empowering him to offer comprehensive care that encompasses both the functional and aesthetic aspects of eye health. He holds memberships with organizations like the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
