The recognition highlights the company’s leadership in transferring scientific research into real-world health solutions through SimVis Gekko and optical simulation.
Madrid, Spain – 2EyesVision has been awarded the II Health to Market Award, granted by the Madrid Science Park Foundation in collaboration with EIT Health Spain. The recognition honors startups that successfully bridge the gap between academic research and market-ready health innovations.
Together with Medea Mind (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and Horus ML (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), 2EyesVision was acknowledged for its contribution to biomedical innovation. The award ceremony took place in Madrid, with Carlos Dorronsoro Díaz, CEO of 2EyesVision, and Xavier Pérez Oller, Business Development Manager, receiving the award on behalf of the company.
This recognition reflects the company’s continued commitment to improving vision care through cutting-edge technological solutions like SimVis Gekko, a pioneering visual simulator enabling real-world IOL testing before cataract or presbyopia surgery.
“This award reinforces our mission of bringing meaningful, science-based innovation to ophthalmology,” said Carlos Dorronsoro at the event.
The ceremony was hosted by Marta Del Castillo Vázquez, General Director of the Madrid Science Park Foundation, and Angeles Barrios, Head of Institutional Relations at EIT Health Spain.
