Tianjin, China — 2EyesVision, an innovative ophthalmic technology company, presented SimVis Gekko at CCOS 2026, China’s most important ophthalmology congress, held from September 9 to 12 at the Tianjin Meijiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. While the international ophthalmology community gathered at major meetings that same week, SimVis Gekko was reaching clinicians in one of the world’s largest ophthalmic markets.
Hands-on with SimVis Gekko in China
At the booth of Guangzhou DMK Technology, Chinese ophthalmology professionals got hands-on with SimVis Gekko and experienced a different approach to preoperative counselling and IOL simulation.
Together with DMK, 2EyesVision introduced clinicians to what makes SimVis Gekko different: real-world visual simulation. Patients can experience the vision provided by different IOL corrections while looking at their actual surroundings. No virtual reality. Real vision, before surgery.
A milestone in 2EyesVision’s international expansion
The presence at CCOS is particularly significant following 2EyesVision’s exclusive distribution agreement with Guangzhou DMK Technology for mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, an important milestone in the company’s international expansion, announced alongside the appointment of Máximo Gómez as Chief Executive Officer.
