2EyesVision has engaged Nivine Woods as Strategic Operating Partner and advisor to support the company’s expansion in the United States.
In this capacity, Nivine will collaborate with the leadership team to guide U.S. market development and engagement with leading ophthalmologists as the company introduces its visual simulation technology to surgeons and patients in the United States.
Nivine brings more than 20 years of experience in eye care, having held senior leadership roles at Alcon, Abbott, and Johnson & Johnson. Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing Officer for EyeCare Partners, one of the largest private equity–backed ophthalmology networks in the United States.
In 2025, Nivine founded her own strategic advisory and consulting practice focused on driving innovation and growth across eye health. She previously served as President of Ophthalmic World Leaders (OWL), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing leadership and collaboration.
Her experience across ophthalmology, optometry and retina will support 2EyesVision’s strategy to expand awareness and adoption of SimVis Gekko, the company’s binocular visual simulator that enables patients to experience how they may see with different intraocular lenses before surgery. “Nivine brings an exceptional understanding of the ophthalmology ecosystem and the dynamics of the U.S. market,” said Susana Marcos, PhD, co-founder of 2EyesVision and David R. Williams Director of the Center for Visual Science at the University of Rochester. “Her experience across industry and clinical stakeholders will be invaluable as we expand our presence and introduce our technology more broadly in the United States.”
“I’m excited to collaborate with the team at 2EyesVision as they expand their presence in the U.S.,” Nivine Woods said. “Technologies that help patients better understand their visual outcomes before surgery represent an important step forward in cataract and refractive care.”
