The award recognizes startups born in research institutions that have successfully bridged science and market. For 2EyesVision, it affirms a journey rooted in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and driven by a mission: to turn frontier science into tools that improve real-world patient outcomes.

It honors early-stage companies born from academic or research institutions that have shown significant progress in translating innovation into sustainable business and societal value. The award includes visibility, mentorship, and participation in the national Santander X Spain Awards | Startup & Scaleup 2025.

This recognition celebrates the scientific roots and clinical ambition of 2EyesVision. The company’s flagship product, SimVis Gekko2, enables patients to preview their post-surgery vision by simulating different intraocular lenses in real time. The technology, developed in collaboration with CSIC, is already being used in over 18 countries and validated in more than 25 peer-reviewed publications.
