Copenhagen hosted new evidence, user experiences, and live demos of visual simulation in ophthalmology

Copenhagen, Denmark – The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) Congress brought together the world’s leading experts in ophthalmology, and 2EyesVision was proud to play a central role with SimVis Gekko, the binocular visual simulator already transforming preoperative care in cataract and presbyopia surgery. Scientific contributions

One of the highlights was the Free Paper Session FP29 – Evaluation Testing, where Dr. Carlos Dorronsoro presented “Clinical Workflow Integration Options of a Binocular Visual Simulator of Intraocular Lenses,” co-authored with researchers from 2EyesVision and collaborators. The session demonstrated how SimVis Gekko can be seamlessly integrated into clinical workflow, supporting ophthalmologists in IOL counseling with reliable, patient-centered data. The 3rd SimVis Gekko Users Meeting

On September 12th at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, leading clinicians from across Europe gathered for the 3rd SimVis Gekko Users Meeting. Real-world cases from Spain, Portugal, Ireland, France and Italy showcased how SimVis Gekko is being applied in clinical routines, from counseling patients on multifocality to building trust in premium IOL adoption.
