I have used SimVis Gekko and it just gives you a much more organic feeling for how car lights generate dysphotopsia,” added Dr. Scott MacRae (Rochester, NY).

SimVis Gekko2: Precision meets experience

Building on the success of its predecessor, SimVis Gekko2 offers enhanced accuracy, usability, and patient experience in simulating multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) before surgery. With real-time simulation and increased customization, the device empowers clinicians and patients to make better-informed, truly personalized choices.

Throughout the day, 2EyesVision’s booth (Hall 7, E.93) drew significant attention, with continuous live demos of SimVis Gekko 2. Attendees had the chance to interact directly with the technology and engage in discussions with the team behind its development. The day was also marked by a standout presentation from Prof. Susana Marcos during the Innovation Session, titled “Visual Simulation Technology for Multifocal Corrections Before Cataract or Presbyopia-Correcting Surgery.” The talk drew strong interest from experts, affirming SimVis Gekko’s place at the forefront of ophthalmic innovation.
