Este dispositivo programable emplea una lente sintonizable r\u00e1pida y funciona bajo el principio de la multiplexaci\u00f3n temporal. La se\u00f1al de entrada de SimVis se adapta para imitar la calidad \u00f3ptica de la lente multifocal utilizando el perfil temporal te\u00f3rico de SimVis, que se eval\u00faa a partir de la m\u00e9trica de Strehl Visual en foco cruzado de la lente multifocal. En este art\u00edculo, se presentan por primera vez validaciones en banco verificadas por foc\u00edmetro de simulaciones multifocales mediante SimVis. Se identifican dos pasos como cr\u00edticos para la precisi\u00f3n de las simulaciones de SimVis. En primer lugar, se presenta un nuevo enfoque iterativo que mejora la precisi\u00f3n del perfil temporal te\u00f3rico de SimVis para tres dise\u00f1os diferentes de lentes intraoculares multifocales \u2014difractiva trifocal, refractiva segmentada bifocal y refractiva de profundidad de foco extendida\u2014, manteniendo un bajo muestreo.
