Revisamos dos configuraciones de \u00d3ptica Adaptativa implementadas en el Laboratorio de \u00d3ptica Visual y Biofot\u00f3nica, y presentamos ejemplos de su uso para una mejor comprensi\u00f3n del papel de las aberraciones \u00f3pticas en la percepci\u00f3n visual, en ojos normales y tratados.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"opo12677-sec-0002\" class=\"article-section__content\">\n<h3 id=\"opo12677-sec-0002-title\" class=\"article-section__sub-title section1\"><strong>Hallazgos recientes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Se describen dos sistemas (AOI y AOII) que miden las aberraciones oculares con un sensor de frente de onda Hartmann-Shack, que opera en bucle cerrado con un espejo deformable electromagn\u00e9tico, y los est\u00edmulos visuales se proyectan en una pantalla visual para mediciones psicof\u00edsicas. AOI opera en luz infrarroja (IR). AOII est\u00e1 provisto de una fuente l\u00e1ser de supercontinuo (longitudes de onda IR y visibles), elementos adicionales para simulaci\u00f3n (modulador espacial de luz, multiplexaci\u00f3n temporal con lentes opto-sintonizables, placas de fase, cubeta para LIOs) y una c\u00e1mara retiniana de doble paso. Revisamos varios estudios realizados con estos sistemas de OA, incluyendo la evaluaci\u00f3n de los beneficios visuales de la correcci\u00f3n de OA, la visi\u00f3n con LIOs multifocales simuladas (LIOMs), las aberraciones \u00f3pticas en ojos pseudof\u00e1quicos, las aberraciones crom\u00e1ticas y su impacto visual, y la adaptaci\u00f3n neural a las aberraciones oculares.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"opo12677-sec-0003\" class=\"article-section__content\">\n<h3 id=\"opo12677-sec-0003-title\" class=\"article-section__sub-title section1\"><strong>Resumen<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Se han medido aberraciones monocrom\u00e1ticas y crom\u00e1ticas en ojos normales y tratados. Los sistemas de OA han permitido comprender el beneficio visual de corregir las aberraciones en ojos normales y la adaptaci\u00f3n del sistema visual a las aberraciones nativas del ojo. Las correcciones oculares como las lentes intraoculares y de contacto modifican las aberraciones de onda. Los sistemas de OA permiten simular la visi\u00f3n con estas correcciones antes de que se implanten o adapten en el ojo, o incluso antes de que se fabriquen, revelando un gran potencial para la industria y la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica.
