Role
We are looking for an International Sales Director who will be instrumental in the commercialization and expansion of SimVis Gekko and other products.
SimVis is the most advanced technology for prescribing multifocal corrections, a very innovative device, with a strong international projection and expansion, which has generated great expectation and demand in the market, being one of the main novelties in the ophthalmology sector worldwide.
You will work alongside the entire team and share all your experience and expertise. As a startup, we need a versatile individual with a desire to grow and transform with the company.
An ideal candidate will have prior experience in the market of Ophthalmology and/or medical devices, enthusiasm about supporting the growth of the team, a desire to be challenged, and strong collaboration and sales skills, as well as interest in working in the dynamic, fast-paced and versatile environment of a start-up.
Responsibilities
- International Sales and Business development under the direction of the CEO
- Management and prospecting of clients worldwide
- Design communication actions, marketing campaigns, mailings
- Develop social media content in coordination with the community manager
- Customer and distributor CRM: development, data feed and maintenance and coordination with external parties
- Web design and orientation to sales
- Sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closing
- Attending international congresses
- Product presentations to customers, in person and online
- Pre-sales communication
- After-sales follow-up
- Managing and supervising agents and distributors
- Document management of the sale: internal production orders, completion of offers, etc.
- Proactive congress coordination: scheduling visits, appointments, mailing campaigns, networking, etc.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English is required as this will be the primary language of your communications (fluency in Spanish desirable).
- International experience in the market of Ophthalmology and/or medical devices.
- Previous experience in product demonstration of medical devices or clinical experience in eye care.
- University education, preferably in Business and/or Health Sciences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Negotiation skills, scientific communication skills, customer orientation and accustomed to working towards objectives.
- Availability to travel, as the position involves regular travel.
- Attention to detail; ensuring accuracy in work.
- Ability to work as a team member, collaboratively and positively.
- Adjustment to change, resetting of priorities, time management skills, resourcefulness, initiative.
